My favorite movie of all time is called The Count of Monte Cristo which is the story of two friends and one's quest for revenge after the betrayal of the other. The reason why I love this movie so much is that I love to find out how other people think and The Count of Monte Cristo shows one side of the psychological emotion of revenge.
For both of these movies I saw them in the Theater and if I had the chance to see them again in theater I would be there in a heart beat.
Both are action movies, but show complexities of character.
ReplyDeleteIf you haven't read it, definitely read the original The Count of Monte Cristo. Dumas goes way further into the characters and the intricacies that make the ending (and the tale of revenge) all the more sweeter.
ReplyDeleteThe Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite books and the film rendition isn't that bad either. The film cut out a lot of the interaction between Edmond and his son, which I felt stood out a lot in the book.
